Concise AACR2: 52. CONFERENCES, CONGRESSES, MEETINGS, ETC.

Give the name of a conference as it appears in chief sources of information. If different forms of the name of the same conference appear in chief source of information, see rule 50.

Omit words that denote the number, frequency, or year of the conference.

Add to the heading for an individual conference:

its number (if there is one)

the year in which it was held

the location (city or institution) in which it was held.

If the heading is for a number of conferences, do not add the number, date or location to the heading.
