50C.Other variant names

50C1.

If, in the same period of time,a body uses different names in bibliographic resources issued by it, use the name that appears in chief sources of information (see rule 0A) rather than forms found elsewhere.

50C2.

If different forms appear in the chief sources of information, use (in this order of preference):
  1. the form not linked to other words in the chief source
  2. the predominant form
  3. the brief form
  4. the later or latest from.
6. Government, as used in these rules, means any body (national, federal, regional, or local) that has jurisdiction over a particular area: country, state, province, county, city, municipality, etc.
